Circulator

Circulators are passive components with three or four ports. Most commonly used types are junction circulators, lumped-element circulators and waveguide circulators. For the sake of compactness circulators normally use standardized coaxial connectors, e.g. SMA or N, but also solder tabs or other solderable alternatives. Waveguide circulators usually come along with standardized flange joining, suitable for the respective frequency range mating the used waveguide. Circulators may be equipped with additional elements, e.g. monitors, tuning elements or other ancillary functions.
